Alice Marie Anderson

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Alice Marie Anderson, our loving and inspiring mother, devoted wife, and a light and a source of joy to all those who knew her. Marie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 24th, 2021 at the age of 71.

Marie was an inspiration to all that knew her and despite a twenty-year battle with chronic pain and advanced osteoporosis she always put the needs of her family and friends first.  Though her health had been deteriorating for many years, few people knew the extent of her pain.  No matter what, Marie was always determined to be there for her family, her church, and to live life to its fullest. Before her illness she was a dedicated ICU nurse and a gifted musician with the voice of an angel.

Marie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert and her two daughters Melissa and Michelle.  A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm on December 11th at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Marie’s favorite charity the ASPCA in her honor.
