Alan "Dwayne" Walters

Alan Dwayne Walters, 52, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on September 13, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harvey and Eva Eason and Olivia McNutt; his father Jerry Walters; and his siblings Craig and Garry Walters.

He is survived by his wife Laura Walters; his children Seth and Drew Walters; his mother Barbara Walters; his brothers Phillip Walters(Tony) and Mark Walters(Taurna); his sister Bethany Walters and several nieces and nephews.

Dwayne worked in retail for most of his life and a short time with the public school system. His passion was mentoring young adults through his ministry that God gave him. He was always the life of the party. He was eager to minister to those in need and never expected anything of them in return. Even though he will be missed, we know we were and are still very loved. He was one of a kind. He was his momma’s baby and she called him brown eyes. We are comforted in knowing that the wonderful man that God blessed us with is resting in the arms of Jesus. He will truly be missed, and his legacy will live on forever.

A Funeral Service will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home at 3:30pm on Sunday September 19, 2021. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Rogers and Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
