I would like to express my deepest sympathy Sherry's family. I recently lost a dear loved one in death and I know the hurt you must feel. What has helped me to cope with this trying time is the words of comfort the Bible offers @ Revelation 21:3,4 that sickness death and pain will be done away with. It also says that those who have fallen asleep in death will be resurrected (John 5:28,29). These words have comforted me and I hope it has brought a measure of comfort to your family as well.
