Rita Louise Mulhern, 70, of Clinton, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 surrounded by family at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC.

Rita was a homemaker who loved children, animals, bowling, fishing, and bingo. She was born on October 30, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Paul and Louise Lewandowski.

She is survived by her four children; Tina Beck Sossomon and husband, Branson of Knightdale, Gwenyvier McCabe of Chagrin Falls, OH, Kimberly McCabe Boahn and partner, Rick of Fayetteville, Brianna Mulhern and partner, Steve of Clinton; two sisters, Janet Lewandowski Miller and husband, Theodore of Selden, NY and Cheryl Lewandowski Simpson and husband, Donald of Norfolk, VA; four grandchildren, Niklas Sossomon, Zachariah Boahn, Aurelia Phillips, and Leia Dodson; four nieces and nephews, and ten great nieces and nephews.
