Peggy Jean Phipps Obituary

Peggy Jean Phipps, 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at home with her family at her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Phipps, Sr. and one son, Gary Pearson.

Peggy is survived by her son, Ernest C. Phipps, Jr. and wife, Belinda of the home; her daughter, Cynthia Britt of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Willard and Mary Lou Jackson; and one brother, Frankie McIntyre.

Peggy was generous to friends and family alike. She was loved by many and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

A funeral service will be held at 3PM Friday, September 20, 2019 at Rogers and Breece Chapel with a visitation from 12:45 to 2:45PM prior to the service. Burial at Cumberland Cemetery following the service.
