Paul Evans Obituary

Mr. Paul Edwin Evans, 94, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vonita Hall Evans of the home; one daughter, Paula Evans Mims of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Brandee Mims Johnson, Cody Mims and Chase Mims.

Paul was a passionate, caring person who enjoyed people, social events and dancing. He loved God, his family and his country. He served in the US Navy and was a Lieutenant with the Ft. Bragg Fire Department for 20 years.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, September 6, 2018 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the funeral home.
