Mildred Gayle (Aldredge) Brown

Mrs. Mildred Gayle Brown, 64, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017.

She was a member of Haymount United Methodist Church and retired from the Cumberland County School System after 30 years.   Mrs. Brown was a loving wife, mother, sister and Nini.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry C. Brown.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jennifer Walker and husband, Patrick of Fayetteville; a son, Jeffrey T. Brown and wife, Athenia of  Fayetteville; two sisters, Kay Corbett and husband, William of Melbourne, Fla. and Geanne Aldridge of Carolina Beach; two brothers, Raymond J. Aldredge, Jr. and wife, BJ of Tampa, Fla. and Leon Aldredge and wife, Robin of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Summer  Gutierrez, Tianna Gutierrez, Caden Walker and Hugh Walker; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday, December 29, 2017 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will also receive friends at other times at the home of Jennifer Walker.
