Michael Glenn Ratcliffe, Sr.

Michael Glenn Ratcliffe, Sr., 74, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.

Michael was a fourth generation iron working in the Fayetteville area for many years.  He loved fishing on the water and had the best fishing stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ratcliffe, a son, Stephen Ratcliffe; a brother, Bill Ratcliffe; and his grandmother, which he  called "his nuther momma".

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Marcia Ratcliffe of the home; three sons, Michael G. Ratcliffe, Jr., Jeffrey Ratcliffe and Bobby Ratcliffe, all of Winter Haven, Fla.; a brother, David Ratcliffe of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a beloved sister-in-law and caregiver, Patricia Donovan; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Gore officiating.  Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
