Linda Elizabeth (Locklear) Norton

Linda Elizabeth Locklear Norton, 65 of Hope Mills was born May 9, 1953 in Robeson County.  She departed this life on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Locklear and mother, Mrs. Lester Locklear, also two sons, Kent Allen Locklear and Michael Glen Locklear.

She leaves to cherish her love and memories, her husband, John Norton of the home; four daughters, Cynthia Denese Locklear Williams (Les) of St. Pauls, Belinda Carol Locklear of St. Pauls, Rhonda Gail Smith (Adarryl) of Fayetteville and Danielle Remonia Norton of Fayetteville; and one step-daughter, Glenda Kaye Norton of Fayetteville; eight brothers, eight sisters, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; as well as a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, June 24, 2018 in St. Pauls Holiness Church with Revs. Matthew Jones, James W. Hunt and Odell Wilkins officiating.  Burial will follow at 2553 John McMillian Rd. Hope Mills, NC.  The family will receive friends from 7 pm to 9 pm Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.
