Linda Abernathy Obituary

Linda Kaye Abernathy, 62, of Fayetteville was welcomed in the arms of her heavenly Father on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Left to cherish her sweet memory is her “Pop”, Andrew “Jack” Abernathy; a brother, Gerald Abernathy; extended family; her “sister” and best friend, Billie Rodriguez; and many friends she loved as family.

Linda fought a long battle with cancer and is now celebrating her birthday in heaven.

The family will receive friends from 9:45 am to 10:45 am Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will be held immediately following at 11 am; burial will be held after the service in the church cemetery.
