Mrs. June Floyd Bentley, 96, of Ocean Isle passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019.
She was born June 12, 1922 to the late, Clifford Floyd and Lillian Boyd. She was married on May 9, 1981 to the love of her life, David Wesley Bentley.
Mrs. Bentley enjoyed doing crafts especially sewing and making dolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Floyd.
Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband of 34 years, David Bentley of the home; her caring nephew, Rick Bentley of the home; her four legged fur baby, Lucy; devoted friend, Debbie Basinger; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Cross Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm.
