I meet the Kit in 1992 when he became my mentor in NC Baptist Men Disaster Recovery. I was new a New South River Baptist Association and recently retired from the US Army. He came to my mind this morning during my Bible study and when I looked him up on the internet I discovered his obituary. He will be greatly missed by his family and many NC Baptist Men. He was very proud of his children and loved his wife with all his heart.
Kit set the example for compassion and being a Christ Follower. God put Kit in my life at just the right time . I thank God for him and the impact he had on my life.
