Mrs. Helen Larsen Thigpen, 89, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018.

She is survived by her son, Lenny Olavessen of Florida; a sister, Eleanor L. McGinnis of Fayetteville; a niece, Karen M. Kalevas of Cary; a nephew, Kurt L. Haefeli of Mission, Texas; and three grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. James Baker officiating.
