Geraldine Seay Campbell

Geraldine “Gerri” Seay Campbell, 82, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

Gerri was preceded in death by her parents, George and Louise Seay.

A loving sister, mother and grandmother she is survived by her daughter, Ruth Smith and husband, James of Fayetteville; two sons, Van Campbell and wife, Debra of Stedman and Alan Campbell of Fayetteville; a sister Shirlene Whitaker (Eddie) of Inman, S.C.; five grandchildren, Eric Campbell (Jordan), Brian Smith (Brittany), Brook Parker (Mike), Brittany Campbell and Seay Campbell; and four great grandchildren, Christopher and Olivia Campbell, Shea Parker and Kalie Bufkin.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and retired from Fayetteville Technical Community College where she was a member and past president of the Association of Educational Office Professionals.  

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Warren officiating.  The family will receive friends from 9:45 am to 10:45 am prior to the service at the church.
