George Crabtree Obituary
Mr. George Mitchell Crabtree, 70, of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
He was a Vietnam Veteran, dedicating many years of service to the US Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen S. Crabtree of the home; his mother, Elaine Hodge Casten of Fayetteville; two daughters, Alexis Newsom and husband, Andrew of Fayetteville and Melissa Brown and husband, Benjamin of Raleigh; two brothers, Freddy Casten and wife, Debbie of Manning, S.C. and Pat Casten of Fayetteville; one grandson, Rylan Newsom; and a dear friend he treated like a son, Tony Saraceni of Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Christus Victor Lutheran Church with a memorial service to follow at 3 pm with Pastor Joe Christina officiating. Burial will be held at 11 am Monday, June 25, 2018 in Cumberland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
