Eula Mae (Herring) Walker

Eula Mae Herring Walker, 91, of Fayetteville, NC passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.   She had been in declining health for several months. 

She was born November 1, 1926 to Foster and Rosa Herring. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, NC. Her membership in the “Roadrunners” brought much joy to her in her retirement years. She was also a volunteer in the office of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.  

Mae was predeceased by her husband, Vick Ross Walker and brother, J.W. Herring.

She is survived by three sons, Vick Ross Walker, Jr. and wife, Candace, Michael Ray Walker and wife, Mary and George Patrick Walker; sister, Rosa Horne and husband, Al; brothers, Reverend Dewey Herring and wife, Allie, Reverend Billy Herring and wife, Olivia; five grandchildren, Marla, Kim, Scott, Mary Alice and Emily; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1:45 to 2:45 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.  Graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Lafayette Memorial Park, Ramsey Street Fayetteville, NC with Dr. Rick McDuffie officiating.
