Emily JoAnn Cooper

Mrs. Emily JoAnn Cooper, 85, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Ret. MSG Larry Gaylord Cooper.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Cooper of Durham and Michael Cooper and wife, Jamie of Jacksonville; two daughters, Gay Carlquist and husband, Kenneth of Holly Springs and Lynn Cooper of Imperial, Penn.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and three special caregivers, Penney, Teresa, Sherry.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Monday, August 21, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Burial will follow the service at 2 pm in Sandhills State Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm prior to the service at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.
