Elbridge Washington Jacobs

Elbridge W. Jacobs, 73, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Jones Jacobs of the home; six daughters, Charlene Jacobs (Clifford) of Shacklefords, Va., Susan Amanda Berry (Richard) of Lincolnton, Nicol Carroll (Danny), Monica Barbour (Anthony), Sherry Watts (Daniel) and Telise Chavis, all of Fayetteville; three sons, Elbridge "Jammie" Jacobs (Arlana) of Fayetteville, Percy Chavis of Wilmington and Johnny Chavis (Ruth Ann) of Fayetteville; a sister, Rose Matthies (Arlon) of Fayetteville; a brother,  Archie Lee Jacobs (Josephine) of Fayetteville; a special granddaughter, Jessica Berry; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 9 pm Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Eastside Church of God 2217 Clinton Rd Fayetteville, NC.  A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Eastside Church of God with Pastor Dale Hathway, Rev. Jerry Groves and Bishop James E. Hunt officiating.  Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
