Christopher Anthony Morales, 42, of Fayetteville, passed away at home on Monday, September 2, 2019.
Memories . . . where do we begin?
First, Christopher was too young to die.
He was a loving father and his children meant the world to him. He had an unbreakable bond with his mother. She was “his rock”, his #1 fan. She was always there for him during the best and worst of times.
Chris had more games of pool to rack up, more musicians to discover and so many more movies to watch. He could watch his favorite movies again and again and nothing stopped him from being the first to rent a new release at Block Buster – even the night Jenifer was in labor, he made a quick Block Buster stop on the way to the hospital!
There are so many things we will miss about Christopher – his great sense of humor and charismatic personality, his devotion to his family and friends, his enthusiasm to lend a hand even to a stranger and his very kind heart.
Chris is survived by his two sons, CJ Morales of Wilmington and Jaxson Morales of the home; his daughter, Peyton Morales of the home; mother Donna Kim Reeves of the home; father Tony Morales of Fayetteville; brother, Ryan Morales of Raleigh; and Jenifer S. Mantoux, the mother of Peyton and Jaxson.
A memorial service will be held at Rogers and Breece Chapel on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Archie Barringer officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 2:00 to 2:45 PM.
