Carl Jansen Obituary
Mr. Carl Richard Jansen, 91, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018.
He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and an Army Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his military career, he worked with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department and retired after dedicating over 19 years of service to the community.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Conzut Jansen.
Left to cherish his memory is his two daughters, Franca Hetue and husband, Kenneth of Indianapolis, Ind. and Helen Sites and husband, Charles of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; grandchildren, Heidi Hetue, Kenneth Hetue and wife, Felicia, Kendra Stegemeier and husband, Kevin, Robert Sites and wife, Teri, Richard Sites and wife, Damaris and Ronald Sites and wife, Mary; and fourteen great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12:15 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
