Cameron May Obituary

Mr. Cameron Andrew May, 22, of Greensboro, truly lived in the moment and successfully fulfilled all God’s wishes here on earth as he was called home to become one of God’s Holy Angels on November 13, 2018.

Cameron was born on October 18, 1996 at Ft. Bragg, NC; Cameron was the youngest son of Ronnie and Merlene May and the brother of Ryan and Ashley May.

Cameron was affectionally known as “Cam”, and was notorious for selling his personality to bring out joy in anyone. He was an individual who was truly himself, and gave off the type of energy that inspired others to do the same. Cam never met a stranger. His laid-back attitude and fun loving personality made him the kind of kid who filled the room with good vibes. He lived life on his terms, and was admired by many for doing so. Cameron captured many meaningful relationships and treasured his family. In fact, Cam loved traveling with his family and as he traveled he created several unforgettable memories.

At an early age, Cameron was dedicated at Living Water Assembly of God, Spring Lake, North Carolina.  Cameron graduated high school with honors in 2015 from Pine Forest High School. He also was a member of the varsity basketball team for four years. Pursing his passion for sports Cameron played collegiate basketball at Averett University. Then later transferred to the University of North Carolina, Greensboro to major in communications where we would have graduated in December of 2019.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 6 pm-8 pm, 500 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.  The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Living Water Assembly of God, 2000 N.
