Bonita "Bonnie" Jeanne McNeil

Mrs. Bonita "Bonnie" Jeanne Ford McNeil, 76, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Master Sgt. Robert B. McNeil and a sister, Shirley Blue.

She is survived by her daughters, Tara Smith and husband, J.J. of Fayetteville and Claudette Griffith and husband, John of Robbins; a sister, Pat Mattoon of Eau Claire, Wis.; a brother, Jim Ford of Fulton, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, John, Alexis, Lauren, Zachary, Cameron, Matthew and Delainey; one great grandson, Lucas and another great grandchild on the way.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Cross Pointe Church with Pastor Tracy Pounders officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 pm - 8 pm Friday, April 21, 2017 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home and also from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm prior to the service at the church.  Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
