Retired Sergeant First Class Bobby Winfield Starr, Sr. 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Womack Army Medical Center.

Bobby served in the US Army for more than 20 years, receiving several awards for his military service including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal (5 Awards).

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Rogers and Breece Chapel with Larry Chason officiating. Burial will follow the service with Full Military Honors at Cumberland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
