Blanche Ereline Hudson

Blanche Ereline Hudson, 87, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018.

Blanche was a nurse with Dorothea Dix Mental Hospital for 56 years, and was the longest tenured employee that was employed there. 

She loved playing the piano and gospel music. She enjoyed bingo and was an avid gardener.

Left to cherish her memory was her sister, Mary Hudson Lambert of Fayetteville; two nieces, four nephews, eleven great nieces, four great nephews, seven great great nieces, thirteen great great nephews, one great great great niece and two great great great nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Barr. Burial will follow at Blackman's Grove Church Cemetery in Dunn. The family will receive friends from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
