Beatrice Smith Buie

Mrs. Beatrice Buie, 87, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018. 

 

Mrs. Buie was born in Robeson County on June 30, 1930 to the late Oliver and Mamie McLemore Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac S. Buie, Sr. She retired from Sears with over 35 years of service. Her family was very important to her and she cherished every moment of being with them. She was the "prayer warrior" of her family. On a daily basis, she spent time praying for her loved ones. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was a woman of great faith who always put her trust in the Lord. She shared her faith with all that she encountered. 

 

Her family is left to cherish her loving memory, sons, Isaac "Sheryl" Buie, Jr. and wife Tavia, of Fayetteville and Howard Buie and wife, Carolyn of Kelly; her sister, Margaret Robinson of Fayetteville; her brother, Curtis Smith of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; one granddaughter, Kristy Buie Smith and husband Bruce of White Lake; two grandsons, Kendal Kelly and wife, Brittany of Elizabethtown and Eric Buie of Kelly; three great grandchildren, Kaley Smith, Kory Smith, and Rayne Kelly. 

 

The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Monday, May 14, 2018 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elton Bryan officiating.  Burial will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
