Philip Arthur Wilkins, 89, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. Philip was born December 7, 1932, in Cumberland County, NC.

Philip is preceded in death by his father, William Arthur Wilkins; mother, Ruth Tew Wilkins; sister, Joyce Pope; and his beloved wife, Mary Charlotte Wilkins. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his nephew, James Arthur Pope of Raleigh, NC; niece, Amanda Joyce Pope of Ocala, FL; and Teresa Young Cordona of Fayetteville, NC.

Philip was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served proudly in Allied Occupied Germany. He continued to serve the public as a long time employee of the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 Pm on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Cross Creek Cemetery with Dr. Charles Young officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Boys and Girls Home of Lake Waccamaw.
