Lonny "Tonnie" Edsel Spell

Lonny “Tonnie” Edsel Spell, 73, passed away on October 2, 2022.

Lonny is preceded in death by his parents, Rassie and Lyda Tyndall Spell; stepmother, Alma Melvin Spell; sisters, Allena Edge, Elderena Carter, Olarease Holloway, Shirley Naylor, and Diana Tew; brothers, R.B. Spell, Maurice Spell, Audie Spell, Williford Spell, Donnie Spell, T.J. Melvin, and Jerry Melvin.

He survived by his sister, Brenda (George) Hall; brother, Elbert (Alease) Spell; brother, Welton Spell; brother, Anieul Spell; and brother, Burnice Melvin; and several sisters in laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lonny is also survived by his fur baby, Mitzie.

The family will greet friends at Massey Hill Baptist Church on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 12 to 1:45 PM. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Tim Evans officiating and special speaker/singer Mr. Terry Carter. Burial to follow the service at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
