Mr. William Lee Johnson, Jr. 83, of Hope Mills passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bennett Mitchell Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis G. Johnson of the home; daughter, Laura J. Millinor and husband, Blake of Hickory; sister, Mary Lou Penny and husband, Tom of Youngsville; and six grandchildren, Mitchell, Christopher, Jennifer, Nicholas, Jack and Sarah.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday, November 13, 2017 in Hope Mills United Methodist Church with the burial to follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Mills United Methodist Church.
