William Frederick Downing

Mr. William Frederick Downing, 75 of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015.

He served in the US Air Force.  He was an avid duck hunter and skeet shooter.

Mr. Downing is survived by his wife, Ingeborg of the home; children, John Downing and wife Betsy of Clinton, and Gabriele Blake and husband, Ricky of Hope Mills; brother, Bruce Downing and wife, Audrey of Raleigh; and one granddaughter, Katherine.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday March 3, 2015 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 (noon) - 1:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
