To The Family,
As a volunteer minister I read obituaries on a regular basis. Death remains the enemy of humankind. When one of our loved ones fall asleep in death (John11:11-14) we may wonder, "Is there any hope for the dead? Will we ever see them again? The answer to both questions are a resounding - Yes! When the Son of God, Jesus Christ walked the earth he performed many miracles, the greatest of these being when he resurrected the dead. (John 11:43,44) Jesus still has this God - given power and he promised to resurrect the dead in the very near future but this time on a worldwide basis.(Acts 24:15) Jesus himself said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me will come to life. (John11:25) When this young man is awaken from the sleep of death he will have the precious opportunity of living forever in God's new system of things where violence, sickness, and even death will be gone forever.(Psalms 37:9-11; Revelation 21:3,4) I hope that these scriptures from God's Word the Bible bring you comfort at this most difficult time. Please accept by deepest thoughts of sympathy in the passing of your loved one..

To Cerissa White: We send our condolences to you Cerissa, and we lift you and your family up in prayer. The thing I most remember about Johnny was his pleasantness to be around, and his loving and caring spirit. You don't meet to many people like Johnny. When you parted company and went on your way, you knew that you had been in the presence of someone very special. His face says it all and a picture really can say a thousand words. There was goodness in this man's heart and he will not be forgotten. He was a man of commitment, to his family and his country, and I was blessed to have known him. Heaven is truly sounding sweeter all the time. God's special grace and love is surrounding you Cerissa and your family at this time, and know that He is there to help each one and comfort you. Our deepest condolences to the family. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, words alone cannot ease the pain of our loss. Our loving God Jehovah understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 147:3 reads He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. We can also find comfort from Jesus words at John 5:28-29 “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. May these scriptures bring comfort and calmness of heart to you during the difficult days ahead.
