Thank you, Phil, for getting in touch with us. We are so sorry to not be able to attend the funeral since we are out west. Claude was so good to Momma and she loved him dearly. Please know we are praying for you boys and your families. Love, Doyle and Pam

Mr. Capps was a special friend for me and my family. Our families grew up together and there are a lot of very fond memories. Claude did me the biggest favor of my life and because of his care and concern turned my life around. When I was floundering and had no compass point of direction he simply gave me a good piece of advice. That advice changed my life and gave me direction. He and Jean treated me as family and for that I'll alway love them. Rest in peace Claude and God bless.

To the families and loved ones of Mr. Capps, who we know will be dearly missed. Almighty God promised at Revelation 21:4 that he will wipe away all our tears. And death, pain, and sorrow will be no more. So you can take great comfort in drawing close to God in prayer. And he will sustain and help support your families to endure, during these difficult times. My deepest condolences to all of your loved ones.

Claude and I were good friends at Central High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, graduating together in 1952. He was a cheery person, always smiling - just the kind of guy you would want for a friend. Claude was a very successful person in life, but he was always very modest about his accomplishments. On behalf of the Central High Class of '52, our condolences to his family. He was proud of them, and I'm sure they are proud of him and his legacy.
