Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Norman Earl Harris, Sr.

Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Norman Earl Harris, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015.

Norman is survived by his loving wife, Sheron R. Harris; two sons, John Henry Harris of Knoxville, Tenn. and Norman Earl Harris Jr. (Diana) of Hope Mills; three daughters, Norma J. Hall (Clifford) of Fayetteville, Donna S. Bonnie of Dover, Del. and Edith Allison Owens of Fayetteville; brother, Cecil Harris of New Jersey; sisters, Mary Klink of Minnesota and Linda Norante of Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and friend, E.C. Barefoot.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., today, May 28, 2015 in Rivers of Living Water Church of God in Fayetteville. Interment with full military honors to follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 - 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
