Mary Ruth,
Through the school systems' merger, I got to know Nancy very well and kept contact until I left the school system in 1997. I would see her through FB posts from time to time. I was saddened to learn just a day or so ago of her passing. I want to assure you and the family that your mom was a special person to many folks, but I can speak mostly for myself. I was in charge of early childhood education with Cumberland County Schools and got to know Nancy quite well through our work with young children. She was truly a dedicated teacher and strove day to day to make life better for the children in her care. I regret that you had to give her up at this early age as I know she brought much joy and love to you and all the family. Please take comfort in knowing her love and cherishing good memories. My thoughts and prayers for you and the family.

I am so sorry for your loss of Nancy. She was a dear tutor or my son, Liam, when he was in kindergarten. One of Nancy's quotes that always brought a smile to may face was"Pam, the Apple just doesn't fall that far from the tree. A crab apple produces crab apples and a golden delicious produces golden delicious. Trust me, Liam is a smart boy and he will be just fine...he's a golden delicious."

As Liam heads to college I remember with fondness her kind heart and beautiful smile. She was an inspiration. I will miss Nancy.

Nancy was a dear friend. We can look forward to seeing her in the resurrection that Jesus promised at John 5:28,29. I loved her dearly. My prayers are with the family.

Love Mattie

Dear Family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort be near you as you endure this difficult time, Death can be painful but let us remember the scripture found in Acts 24:15,where it shows us that there is going to be a resurrection and we will see our loved ones again soon.
