Mary Virginia Cowley (Cowley) Kutz

Mrs. Mary Virginia Cowley Kutz, 89, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born in Charleston, W.Va., Mrs. Kutz was a daughter of the late Willie Cowley and the late Pearl Ballard Cowley. She was a civil service employee with the U.S. Dept of Defense before retirement. She was a long time member of Highland Presbyterian Church. Prior to her recent illness, she was a resident at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville. 

Surviving is her son, Paul H. Kutz, Jr. and his wife, Sue B. Kutz, of Rock Hill, S.C.; her grandson, Paul B. Kutz of Rock Hill; granddaughter, Danielle C. Kutz, of Charlotte; and great-granddaughter, Ivy E. Kutz, of Rock Hill. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home. The burial will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
