Lettie Merle (Ward) Smith

Mrs. Lettie Merle (Ward) Smith, 86 of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017.

She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Smith of the home; one daughter, Pamela Cook and husband, Ronald of Fayetteville; a brother, Fred Ward of Inverness, Fla.; a sister, Lucille Ward of Lumberton; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in Gethsemane Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Westfall officiating.  Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Cemetery.
