Kiki P. (Papagiannis) Pappas

April 22, 1940 ~ August 15, 2017 (age 77) 77 Years Old

Mrs. Kiki P. Pappas, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away after a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

Kiki enjoyed cooking, gardening, entertaining and spending time with her family and loved ones. She was a dedicated member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church for 55 years.

Kiki was preceded in death by her parents, Ioannis and Sophia (Paliouras) Papagiannis.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband, Steve C. Pappas of the home; a son, Chris S. Pappas and wife, Machelle of Pinehurst; a daughter, Sophia Pappas Tsiatsios and husband, John of Greenville, S.C.; a sister, Athena Mylonas of Lamia, Greece; and four grandchildren, Courtney Pappas Davis, Steven Pappas, Eleni and Alex Tsiatsios.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, August 19, 2017 in Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church with Father Alex Papagikos officiating.  Burial will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm with the Trisagion at 7 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church or to PSP.org.

The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to Amedisys Hospice Care, especially Holly Hunt, Deloris Emanuel and Nakisha Miller for their amazing support and kindness during our time of need. And a special thank you to Dr. Richard Serano of Highland Neurology for his devoted care and guidance.
