Julie Ann Byrd

FAYETTEVILLE    Mrs. Julie Ann Byrd, 67, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018.

She was the co-owner of Vander Tire and Auto Parts, an avid member of the Vander Civic Association and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Julie was happily married for 43 years to the love of her life, Dennis and was affectionately known as "Momma Julie" by her children, grandchildren and to many in the Cape Fear Region.
   

She is survived by her husband, Dennis J. Byrd of the home; two sons, Cameron Dennis Byrd of Stedman and Aaron Nicholas Byrd of Fayetteville; two sisters, Jean Hales of Hope Mills and Lynn Russell Merritt of Fayetteville; and six grandchildren, Haley, Caiden, Tristan, Zachariah, Aubrey and Ashton.
   

The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm tonight, Tuesday January 23, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Rogers and Rev. Jeff Burkhardt officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
