John Fuller Courtney, Jr.

Retired Staff Sgt. John Fuller Courtney, Jr., 83, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday April 9, 2015. 

Mr. Courtney proudly served in the Army for over 23 years and was a Vietnam veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Belle Courtney; parents, John F. Courtney, Sr. and Elva Mae Cain Courtney;  and brother Tim Courtney.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM (Noon) Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel with full military honors.  Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:45 - 11:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Courtney is survived by his son, Jay Courtney and wife, Debbie of Pottstown, PA; daughters, Beverly Watkins and husband, James of Denham Springs, LA, Connie Jansen and family of Kelso, WA, and Stacey Davis and husband, Johnnie of Eastover; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
