Jason Dwight Wood, Sr.

Jason Dwight Wood, Sr.,  72, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Elise (Tew) Wood; a sister, Christine Grimsley; and a nephew.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Madeline Wood of the home; two sons, Jason Wood, Jr. and Kenneth Wood and wife, Michelle, all of Fayetteville; two sisters, Helen Chee and Dorcas Wood, both of Fayetteville; one granddaughter, Ashley Segara; a number of nieces and nephews; four brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and his precious cat "Nutt".

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 12 pm (noon) to 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
