Faye Bass Gaskins

Mrs. Faye Bass Gaskins, 75, of Eastover passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.

Mrs. Gaskins graduated from Seventy First High School in 1958 and she was a dedicated member of the Fayetteville Community Church as well as a member of the Rainbow Widow Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene W. Gaskins, Sr.; her parents, Floyd H. Bass, Sr. and Rena H. Bass; and a brother, Floyd H. Bass, Jr.

Left to carry on her memory are her sons, Gene W. Gaskins, Jr. and wife, Sheila of Huntsville, TX and Ellory Randolph "Randy" Gaskins and wife, Sharon of Fayetteville; a brother, Charles Bass of Huntsville, TX; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 in Fayetteville Community Church with Revs. Wesley Pritchard and Ken Pritchard officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm tonight, Sun. Sept. 25, 2016 at the funeral home.
