Ella Mae Gibbs

Ella Mae Gibbs, 68, of Charlotte formerly of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017.

Ella Mae loved her family and the Lord. Her favorite times were spent traveling with Veronica, spending time with her "grandgirls", living in New Mexico and being at the beach.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morgan and Mildred Gibbs; sisters, Helen Gibbs and Pauline Serna; and a brother, Floyd Gibbs. 

She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Gibbs Ritchie (Chuck) of Charlotte; two sisters, Leola Gibbs of Mint Hill and Patricia Moreno (Ed) of St. Augustine, Fla.; two brothers, Morgan Gibbs, Jr. (Carmen) of Fayetteville and Leonard Gibbs (Gloria) of Alpharetta, Ga; and two granddaughters, Haley Ritchie and Emily Ritchie, both of Charlotte.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leonard Gibbs officiating.
