Edward Eldridge Draughon

Edward "Eddie" Eldridge Draughon, 53,of Fayetteville, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at home.

Mr. Draughon was employed by Cape Fear Well and Pump Company for 24 years.  He also was with the Grays Creek Fire Department Station 24 for 32 years. 

He was preceded in death by his father, E.D. Draughon and mother, Louise Bill Draughon. 

He is survived by his son, Dylan Simmons of Missouri; two nephews, EJ and Alan McCarthy of Ohio; and numerous cousins.

A memorial will be held Tuesday, 7 p.m., Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home on Tuesday, 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

The family ask for donations to be made to Gray’s Creek Fire Department 24 or Falcon Children’s Home.
