Mr. Donald "Rod" Vincent Roderick, Sr., 70 of Hope Mills passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017.
He is survived by his son, Donald V. Roderick, Jr. and wife, Dana of Hope Mills; a daughter, Anna Michelle Roderick of Hope Mills; two brothers, Rev. Edward B. Anthony of Prescott, Ariz. and Alfie McKunes of South Boston, Mass.; four sisters, Cathy McDonough of Bangor, Maine, Eva McKunes-Arcand of S. Boston, Mass., Theresa McKunes-Powell of S. Boston, Mass. and Anne-Marie McKunes Litwinsky of Burlington, Mass.; six grandchildren, Dahman McKinnon, Aaliya McKinnon, Julian Hill, Jeffrey Cumbo, Elizabeth Roderick and Abigail Roderick; and one great grandchild, CeCe Urbanek.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A funeral service with military honors will be held at 1 pm Friday, July 7, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Anthony officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Cemetery.
