Dennis Lee Foos

Mr. Dennis Lee Foos, 61, of Hope Mills passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017.

My father was a very special man to many people.  He had a big heart sometimes too big for his own good.  My father was a family man, he loved his kids and especially his grandkids Ashley, Ashton and Brandon.  He knew how to make you smile if you were having a bad day.  He loved to joke around. He even used to dress up like Santa for the kids school and for the kids and grandkids.

My father loved the outdoors no matter what it was he loved when I had cookouts, going for rides in his truck whether they were short or long.  And he loved watching his soap operas.

My father retired from truck driving but in his heart he was never really retired he thought about it all the time and missed it greatly.  

He is survived by two daughters, Brandi Foos of Hope Mills and Crystal M. Foos of Cedar Creek; two sons, Jeff Foos of Smithfield and Bucky Foos of Sanford; a sister, Vickie Hubbard of Bonnie, Ill.; a brother, Mike Foos of Logan, Ill.; and three grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley and Ashton.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Cross Creek Cemetery.

He was a very unique man and he will be greatly missed but never forgotten.  We love you Dad!
