Betty Faircloth Short

Mrs. Betty "Nanny" Faircloth Short, 84, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnice Lee Short and daughter, Brenda Short Fricke.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Lee Short and wife, Sherrie of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Nicole Drewry and husband, Jeremy of Seattle, Wash. and Joey Short and wife, Meredith of Fayetteville; and three great grandchildren, Sage, Psalm and London.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2:45 pm Friday, September 29, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 3 pm in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. John Blackman, Jr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
