Barbara Jean (Jernigan) Faircloth

Barbara Jean Jernigan Faircloth, 77, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 surrounded by her three sons, her daughter-in-law and her beloved sister.

 

She was a devoted wife to Charles Patrick Faircloth until his passing on their 50th wedding anniversary. Barbara was a loving wife and mother. She was also a faithful member of Layton Chapel Baptist Church.

 

A special thank you to her caregivers during her long good-bye.

 

She is survived by her sons, Patrick Faircloth of Fayetteville, William Faircloth and wife, Mary of Holden Beach and Robert Faircloth of Fayetteville; a sister, Judy Tyndall of Fayetteville; a nephew, Brian Tyndall and wife, Amy; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and one great nephew.

 

A funeral service will be held at 12 pm (noon) Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Swagger officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 am to 12 pm (noon) prior to the service at the funeral home.
