Barbara Burke Obituary

Barbara Ann Burke, 72 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sarah Walters and her brother, Paul Walters Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Allen Burke, Sr. of the home; one daughter, Diane Stambough and husband Rodney of Fayetteville; two sons, Charles Allen Burke, Jr. and wife Robin of Fayetteville and Donald Burke and wife Christy of Fayetteville; two brothers, Billy Walters of Wilmington and Gary Walters of Carolina Beach; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Scot McCosh officiating. Burial will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Church Sanctuary.
