Albert "Al" Cascasan

Albert "Al" Cascasan, 33, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016.

A Fayetteville native, who was a star football player and 2001 graduate of Douglas Byrd High School.  He was an Army Veteran who served at Fort Bragg.  A patriotic advocate, selfless in his pursuit to bring awareness to our forgotten warriors.  Al will be remembered for his smile and the greatness of his heart.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rori and his grandfather, Larry Aguon.

He is survived by his mother, Angela Latham and step father, William Latham of Fayetteville; his father, Albert T. Cascasan of the Philippines; two sisters, Graciela Grimaldi and husband, Jeremy of Carolina Beach and Lydia Cascasan of Texas; his maternal grandmother, Sally Aguon; two nieces, Annalynn and Camille; and host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service with military honors will be held at 4 pm Friday, December 2, 2016 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating.  Private burial will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
